Project Partners

Project products are developed through a European partnership and the utilization of international expertise. All project offerings are provided in four European countries.

The involved partner organisations are:


k.o.s GmbH, Berlin – Germany

The k.o.s GmbH supports organizational and personnel development for educational institutions, businesses and public institutions in the fields of vocational education and training, further and adult education, educational guidance and qualifications consultancy. Focus are consultancy services for enterprises and organisations regarding the implementation and improvement of quality assurance and quality development as well as support services for competence development. Further services are quality circles, workshops, seminars, and conceptual development. The k.o.s GmbH has been operating since 2009 at the initiative of public and private organisations.


ABB Training Center GmbH & Co.KG, Standort Berlin – Germany

ABB is one of the world’s leading technology companies. Enterprises of the ABB group employ 150.000 members of staff in more than 100 countries, amongst which are 10.000 in Germany. The ABB Training Center GmbH & Co. KG (ABB/ATC), site Berlin, is a provider of vocational training for SME. By means of innovative in-company training in affiliated groups (Verbundausbildung) and holistic educational services for in-company vocational and further education it trains over 600 apprentices on behalf of a network of 150 enterprises in the metropolitan region of Berlin-Brandenburg; it also offers vocational guidance and counselling. ABB/ATC provides training for 16 professions amongst which many in the industries of Metal, Machinery and Related Trades Workers as well as Electrical and Electronic Trades Workers. It hereby looks back at 65 years of successful in-company training.


Austrian Institute for Research on Vocational Training, Vienna – Austria

The Austrian Institute for Research on Vocational Training (öibf) is a scientific, non-profit, independent research institute founded in 1970. We manage and carry out research and development in various areas of vocational education and training (VET). Fields of research are initial and further education and training, vocational guidance and counselling, evaluation research, observation of the labour market, innovation in VET, new media, economics and gender topics. The Austrian Institute for Research on Vocational Training (öibf) was founded om 1970 through the initiative of the "Berufsförderungsinstitut" (bfi), which is a vocational education and training institute for workers and unemployment persons, owned by the Chambers of Labour and the Austrian Trade Union Federation and with the support of the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB), the Chamber of Labour (AK), the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs as well as the Federal Ministry of Arts, Science and Research.


Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, Larissa – Greece

The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED) is an NGO founded in 2005. Its vision is to create an environment that promotes entrepreneurship, research and entrepreneurial spirit and mindset of businesses, creating long-lasting relationships with society and the academic community. IED provides assistance and services in the fields of education, economic and social development, promotes human rights and democracy. It offers consulting and training services to organizations and individuals in the fields of vocational education and training, entrepreneurship, social economy, informal qualifications and others. This is realized by a wide range of activities such as forums, publications, workshops/conferences/seminars and networking and collaboration activities.


Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers, Warschau – Poland

The Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers (PZPB ) is a country-wide organisation which represents Polish construction industry companies opinion. It associates more than 80 companies, amongst which are the biggest construction companies which perform about 70% of main contracts conclude in the Polish construction mark but also numerous SME. It associates construction contractors, construction materials manufacturers and developers. PZPB is an organisation expressing the community opinion on negotiations with the Government, the Parliament, Trade Unions and the EU structures. PZPB participates as associated member in the works of the Polish Construction Industry Technological Platform and in international programmes financed by the European Union. It also cooperates with organisations of employees from EU countries.
