The Final Conference in Greece was organized by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development in cooperation with the Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industries.

"Institute of Entrepreneuship Development in cooperation with the Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industries and PRAXI network organized and implemented a conference entitled “Initiatives and tools for the support of SMEs”. The purpose of the conference was to present useful and innovative tools for the support of Greek SMEs in order to overcome the economic crisis and the significant repercussions. Within this framework, the importance of apprenticeship and in-company training for the SMEs and the numerous benefits were highlighted. Mr. Koutoudis Panagiotis, representative of the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, presented the outputs of the European ERASMUS+ project “StartApp – Starting with Apprenticeship” which can actually help SMEs design and implement sustainable strategies for the recruitment of trainees. The handbook “Finding and retaining trainees” was also presented in order to provide SMEs with innovative tools that will support them with the recruitment procedure in all of its five phases. The handbook includes more than 45 tools and is based on 20 golden rules. "
